The Graz combo defines their real Opera Metal style clearly stated through their first album Lines of Sorrow, truly different from all other metal bands.  US born mezzo-soprano Solmaaz Adeli who since her arrival in Austria began singing at the Wienervolksoper in ‘Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg’ proves the band is going in the right direction.  You can hear the present classical and symphonic influences (with a rock-oriented metal theme constant throughout the album) not only through the voice on this debut album but through the successful overall presentation of such demanding music…it’s hard to believe the Graz group did it all without even having had a label!!!  This album is from the heart, something that a lot of other bands with bigger productions can’t compare with.  Let’s hope that a good label will grab these guys soon…with their deep musical structure they certainly deserve a good one!
